I found this inexpensive watch that recently met all of the following requirements I had at the time:
Shows the date
Has long hands
Roman numerals
Minimalist design
Inexpensive
Large diameter
It's nice because like many watches nowadays the wristbands are interchangeable.
On the back of the dial it says:
Lavaredo
Quartz 3ATM Water
Stainless steel
No. L6628
It also includes a few fancy engravings for artistic expression. One looks like a shield and the other encircles the details listed above.
I like how the date is placed over the 6th hour because it provides a visual cue when in an area of low lighting.
Since the date is in this location, it makes it easier to distinguish exactly which hour it is from a quick glance.
The interchangeable wristband here is a metalic "gun metal" that looks like it's burled.
I like how the interchangeable wristband has a sharp style that catches the eye.
This watch is a clip-on watch that clasps down around the wrist.
It's simple and easy to adjust by using a small paperclip to reposition the clasp for small or large wrists.
With a pliers, this wristband can be improved to clasp better than it had arrived out-of-the-box.
Here the watch is on my wrist.
It fits quite nicely and looks like a much more expensive wristwatch than one would expect.
I really like this watch and will wear it out every now and then.
Though it is a $20 watch, I don't pay mind to the low cost and appreciate it for many of the simple features that I desire in a good watch.
